Afternoon walk. Quiet country fields and paths and the Special Protection Area, including the lagoons, which are important to wild birds. This is the freshwater lagoon, the other nearby is saline, (the sea can get in through a breach in the sea wall).

Earlier we watched an announcement by the First Minister; a couple of welcome changes to Coronavirus Restrictions, which will be good for wellbeing, and come into effect on Friday. In summary up to 6 people from up to 6 households can meet outdoors, and you can travel within Scotland for outdoor socialising, recreation and exercise. In terms of statistics at this juncture it’s 221 new cases, 133 in hospital, 3 new deaths, 682,706 first dose vaccinations and 605,126 second doses.
