Shoreline

We spent nearly an hour on the phone first thing with our French bank, in French, doing their annual review of our French income (none) and spending. Basically, they are trying to sell us insurance. Our French is okay for most things, but technical terms and speaking on the phone add additional layers of complexity.  Still, we got through and managed a laugh or two along the way. I got my new varifocals this afternoon, which are great, and also new varifocal readers that work for ordinary reading and at arms length for the big computer screen. On the way back I took some photos at the shore. We only had time for a short walk and then a focus group this evening with a good talkative group from the north west.
