Orange-tip

Orange-tip butterfly (Anthocharis cardamines) in the garden. Always a fantastic thrill to see these in the garden come spring. The females, without the orange, are harde to spot unless you see the underwing which is mottled green & black.

Managed some work on the pond, which is coming on, but still an unnerving chill in the air.
