A friend who bakes is a friend indeed

Met my friend Pauline today for a picnic. Not only had she made lovely sandwiches but she’d baked me a cake! What a love. And she’d got a fancy cake topper made for me with my name on it (to celebrate some recent business success). It was just lovely.

In other news, I got my bike out for first time in months and cycled to the office and back. Felt good though was glad I had gloves on! Also had a haircut, was nice to be back in the salon being pampered.

Did outdoor gym class tonight and then walked round park with some other ‘rugby mums’ while we waited for our sons to finish training.
