An April Sky

At least the weather is predominantly sunny even though we get frost at night. I liked the cloud formation in this shot, enhanced by the blossom. If anybody can tell me what the tree is, I'd be enormously grateful. Lots of these trees on the estate and they're looking splendid.

I even saw an aircraft trail this morning forging through a clear blue sky. Somewhat unusual in these times.

Basil and I walked down to the boundary of Garendon Estate this afternoon. Our circular walk took two hours when it should probably have taken just over half an hour.
