Flying Rainbow

A few hours late afternoon fishing, ably assisted by net-girl.

It's a dicey thing taking a not-quite-four year old on a fishing trip. Luckily the fish turned up just when interest might have started to fade. An exciting few minutes of the rainbow trout leaping into the air, making a beeline for every nearby rock and evading the net twice. Third time was a charm with a titanic and perfectly timed effort (its a big net when you are little).

Turned round a bit later to find her sitting with the fish in her lap, while she examined it in detail. Trousers are now in the wash...
