A walk in the beach
The lovely beach at Nairn. The ‘Brighton’ of the north.
Nairn is a ‘designer town’. After T.Telford built the harbour, the town was laid out anew, villas and splendid stone houses set back from the beach. The local fisherman moved their boats here and opened a large fish market.
Now it’s a tourist hotspot and will doubtless become much busier as lockdown restrictions are about to ease. We saw dolphins cruising and long-tailed ducks bobbing in the surf. Plus a few kids and paddle boarders.
