What do you see?

I remember as a kid seeing the shapes of countries or continents in the clouds... but as a mature adult (well, an adult anyway) all I saw here was a dog's head blowing smoke - reminds me of those pop art paintings of dogs smoking and playing pool or poker - there was one in the lounge at the New Park Hotel in the New Forest where Hilary and I would escape for coffee and biscuits if we had an afternoon off when we lived and worked at Embley Park... (next to the New Forest Showground where my sister met her husband back in maybe 1983?).
One order today from an inactive I called yesterday and who rang back today, eased my guilt at sitting out in the wonderfully warm sunshine (supposedly 9C max but I was sweating in a t-shirt!!) most of the day... This was the first cloud to cover the sun, taken at 3.30pm... A little after that I went in and called properly for a couple of hours, and sold nowt...
More sociable day today than for a while - chats with James, Mike, Chris Fish, Tavi (wine teaching thing still full steam ahead, see https://thewinecollege.co.uk/), Jeanette, Ady...
And also money from my house sale landed in my account so felt very rich for a bit... before realising that half of it disappears on loan and credit card repayments, and universal credit now stops as a result... and I'll not get my prescriptions for free so will need to sort pre-payment voucher...
That's helping me resist the urge to splurge on a case of nice wine, that and the worry that my 12 year old car could conk very easily... And there's no guarantee that I will sell enough wine to cover my living costs so may well need to use that money to live on...
I've long held the notion that however much or little I earn, I seem somehow to just scrape by - at one point Hilary and I were earning about £70K plus renting out a house, and had no kids and no living expenses (living in school so no bills and meals for free) - but still we seemed to spend it all each month - now I'm on about £7K and it's the same!! And I'm a LOT less stressed to boot (:
