Nooroo

A trip to Mt Wilson, still in the Blue  Mountains, but about a half hour drive.
There wasn't much colour, but still very beautiful.
The wonderful volcanic soil has ensured that it's a serious gardener's cool climate paradise.
In the 20s and 30s especially, it was as close as Australia got to a 'hill station', where wealthy Sydneysiders came to escape the heat.

We spent a couple of hours wandering around, mainly in the garden at Nooroo and the beautiful grounds of the 1915 fibro church.
Coffee after at Mt Vic.
A great day and lots of laughs with good mates.

I had taken the OLY and a few lenses, but ended up mainly using the Ricoh, which I'm very much enjoying.

Thanks so much for the attention to yesterday's street blip.
