Tenuous

Busy day with work and then a GP visit after. In the absence of any photography done today here’s a snap of a souvenir match ball that sits in the study, trophy-like. The sporting occasion was the 1998 Rugby League Challenge Cup final, won by Sheffield Eagles over Wigan Warriors against all odds. I was at Wembley stadium to see it.

Anyway there’s a tenuous link here to sneak in a shot from last week’s trip, and therefore submit an entry for this week’s derelict Sunday challenge. We drove through the Gilbert Valley to reach our destination.

A further tenuous link. The photo is a derelict farm house that featured on the cover of Midnight Oil’s record ‘Diesel And Dust”. The band were at their height through the 80s and 90s, when Sheffield Eagles had their famous victory.
