World Book Day

Here are my 3 boys on World Book Day. I spent all of last week making the older 2's outfits for the school to decide on tuesday that "they were not doing it!" (I wasn't happy!) and the youngest nursery don't do it but he wanted to dress up.

My eldest is the lion from the lion, the witch & the wardrobe, the middle is a gargoyle from the gargoylz books, and the youngest is roary from roary the racing car.

(the lion's mane and ruffle i made from 3" lengths of dark brown, cream, and 2types "fluffy" effect wool, done in a" latch hook rug making style", the mane is all on a deep yellow hat and has ears on top, the ruffle was done the same way over the "v" shape of jumper, and his tail was a plait of same wool.

the gargoyle was a grey onesie, an elephant mask "edited" and he has got wings (just visible), which were bright red but painted with grey paint (not that they went very grey.
