Standing out from the crowd,...
... this lovely young deer lacked the colour of the rest at Studley Deer Park. I did an online search and it appears that albino deer are very rare (maybe 1 in 30 000).
I managed to get to the deer park early, on a lovely sunny morning. That meant I could take my time, quietly photographing the deer, who mostly ignored my presence.
It was only when a couple of people arrived with their dog that the deer became a little unsettled and started to move around (even though the dog was well controlled and was no threat). By that point, I had taken more than enough photographs and moved on.
I've included a couple of extras, including one showing the herd finally moving along (after around 30 minutes of my company).
