Male Downy Woodpecker!

9°C  -  11 mph SSE Wind Speed  -  14 mph Gusts  -  Sunny Day.  Summer’s definitely on its way☺  A few Bees, Hoverflies, Butterflies passing through. Caught sight of this Downy Woodpecker who was chopping away at the Hazel tree at the bottom of the garden!  I had to take him through the kitchen window because I knew if I went outside he’d fly off.
