Magnolia Stellata

There are two magnolia shrubs in front of Pollok House.
The recent heavy frosts have spoiled many of the magnolia buds before they had a chance to open and it was only by burrowing in among the lower branches that I found one of the few blooms to remain from frost damage.

I had an appointment with one of our doctors this morning .... all was going so well till he told me there was a 32 week waiting list for an appointment with our Health Centre physics .... that is too long to wait when you need help with a bad shoulder and I think I'll get better help at the Hampden Sports Injury Clinic .... my previous visit was in 2010,
