Spring colours

... busting out all over. It was such a lovely day that we went for a post-lunch walk to the lake and back. It was good to get out for a proper walk instead of just pootling around the village. Go large to spot S! Extra: evidence of the frost damage from last weekend. Almost all the plants in this large plot had some, though others nearer the village haven't been affected at all.

On the way back we did a small detour to visit A and C at the bergerie; they were preparing to move the woolly ladies before they leave for Germany at the weekend, so we didn't stay long. On the way down to the village we also met A's brother M on his way to help them get the sheep into the trailer. So we were out rather longer than anticipated and satisfactorily tired when we got back.
