Perfect Day

I was very excited about today, I was also massively relieved, it's been 7 months since I saw my sister and finally today we got to meet up. Yay!! Feels like the beginning of adventures again. We had a fab walk along the river from Masham, a picnic in the sunshine on a little beach by the river. We explorer follies and ruins, crossed streams and makeshift bridges and met the world's biggest sheep! 10 miles and no complaints from the kids who were excited to finally meet up again. Back to Masham for fish & chips before heading home, then for me, wrapping up and sitting by the fire pit in a friend's garden.
