R.I.P.

This old soldier passed away peacefully before dawn this morning. Final mission accomplished in the manor he wanted. He will be greatly missed.

This is a picture of G'dad (my father-in-law) taken in North Africa in the early 1940's, before any of us were born.

We have returned home and will go back over to Worcestershire next week to make arrangements.

PS Times like this are always sad, but he had his his fun moments and these are the times we need to reflect on!! xx
