Chicks- day 14, still in the nest.

Taken from far away. You might have to look closely to see them. The female doesn't sit on them during the day, they are too big. I will be amazed if they are still in the nest tomorrow.

I have looked back at how long blackbird chicks have been in the nest in my garden before and these are the longest.

I couldn't get closer for fear of scaring them and making them jump out of the nest.

If you page back you will see them get younger until the day they hatched. They have grown so much in such a short time.
