Our Last Home
was an apartment in a factory conversion in Sydney's Inner West.
We'd planned to return when the house and garden in the Blue Mountains became overwhelming. The only thing that has become overwhelming about living in the Upper Mountains is the bloody long, cold winter.
Our tenants moved out on Tuesday and we are having a camping adventure in our old apartment to decide whether it's time to return to
city life.
I've lived in this area for most of my adult life and when I walked into the apartment this morning, after eight years, it felt like home.
This is a zoomed-in view from our balcony. Centrepoint Tower is in the heart of the CBD; we're about 4 kilometres out.
Have a good weekend.
