My favourite chair. Made for us by a friend. A retired upholsterer.
In fact he has just rung this afternoon to have a chat and catchup with Mr C, who has laughed non stop for half an hour. They are always pulling one another’s legs.

Popped in to see my sister this morning to take her one of the agapanthus plants.
Stayed for coffee and a chat. Very pleasant sat in the garden as it was quite warm in the sunshine. Coat on of course! B.I.L. had just had his hair cut and was complaining he was cold!

Still overnight frost forecast.

Looking forward to having the first English asparagus for our evening meal. ( Along with fresh salmon and new potatoes.)
Couldn’t resist when I saw it for sale at the farm shop.
They also had some Jersey potatoes, but they didn’t tempt me as they never taste like they used to, and the price was ridiculous.

Off for our second Covid jab tomorrow. Fingers crossed the centre isn’t closed this time, although we did have a text this morning from our doctors reminding us.
