Today in Saintes

Elvis and I met Carmen for an early walk through the woods, fields and vineyards, and then after breakfast Mr F and I went into Saintes to get some money out of the bank (apparently they are just for administration now, and no longer dispense money!) buy some mais for the hens, some trailing geraniums, and some soaker hose for the new veg beds.
The photos show the newly planted beds outside the Palais de Justice, a street scene in Saintes (the road works are due to the new pavement being installed, also by the Palais de Justice) and the blossom trees down the street by Mr Bricolage!
Fresh mackerel for dinner, as it was market day today!
