The extra shot is in the main part of the Nature Reserve where sheep are being used to graze the Dune Heath and keeping unwanted growth taking over. We had a chat to a very interesting volunteer who was doing some gate maintenance. He was very knowledgeable about the area, my family go back many generations in the area so the conversation was of mutual interest
They are having an ongoing battle with gorse, some progress has been made but it is a real problem.
