At Stonebow Washlands

Today, we completed the walk between Shepshed and Loughborough, inasmuch as we started near Stonebow and walked to the Bavarian Arch. It wasn't too long. Pity the weather was cloudy but it's been a glorious evening.

The female swan is still sleeping on her nest while her hubby patrols the pool as seen here. Taken in infrared which I think gives it an ethereal feel.
