Learning to Grow

These are student plots at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Each of the plots is looked after by a first year student studying HNC/BSc in Horticulture Plantsmanship. This year's students are just starting to work on their plots. All plants are grown from seed using organic methods. Plots include a prescribed area and an areas where students chose what to present.

Last year I watched the plots with interest as they developed through the season.
Each one was quite different but all were very creative and colourful. I was most envious to see their lovely vegetables mature as mine were being slowly munched by the slugs! I'm equally excited to see how the plots develop this year!
