Figured I’d paint the new door before tomorrow’s “storm”. (I’m still hopeful it’ll be a cold rain!). The paintable area isn’t big by any stretch but the views keep me from focusing on the task at hand. I am anxious to get the deck built so that we may finally enjoy our view.

We’ve lived in our house for 15 years and it’s always been a project. Like any other project, it tends to be overshadowed by a more pressing matter/project. And so it goes, being pushed back another year and another and another.

After the door install, and seeing how often we’ll be sitting back there... I’m excited!
