The roses are opening

I had a quiet day today, getting some yardwork done, and looking for some paintings of mine.  I'm trying to enter a few pieces in the Austin Pastel Society virtual show in their "emerging artist" category.  But when I hit "submit" the screen just displayed a circle going round and round!  So I don't know if it worked.  Some days are like that.
