The back yard in April

Today was a warm day for April, five degrees above normal the man on the radio said.

That being said, the ground is quite brown, and the nights are cold, below freezing still. And the frogs aren’t croaking yet. It’s the sign that Lauralea watches for, the frogs croaking.

Pretty soon the green will come up, the bees will return, and the lawn will need cutting. Summer will be here.

Not sure what the summer holds for us. If we will be free to travel and to meet again. I suppose we will see.

But for today, this is the view.
