What big teeth you have!

Today was largely a repeat of yesterday, wildlife drive in the morning, and beach in the afternoon. When we started on the wildlife drive we didn’t see any alligators to start with. The skies were initially rather more overcast today, and so they weren’t out sunning themselves. However, as the morning went on, the sun broke through more, and later in the drive, we did see several, and one or two of them were quite photogenic. It may appear I was really close, but he was on the other bank of the canal, and this was taken with full zoom, while standing right next to our car, just in case! Fortunately however he seemed quite oblivious to us, and kept on sunbathing! At the beach, Roger had a go with his surf board - we bought them years ago, when the kids were still at home, but they’ve been up in the attic unused for years. When we go to Florida, we more often go to the Gulf coast, which isn’t known so much for its surf, and sometimes we fly, so couldn’t take them anyway. He was just lying down on the board, rather than trying to stand up, but he had fun! Unfortunately, I wasn’t careful enough putting enough sunscreen on the tops of my feet, and I went for quite a long barefoot walk on the beach, so they were feeling a little sore in the evening!
