1935 Dodge Pickup Truck Hotrod

I noticed this hotrod pickup parked on a side road as we were driving by. on an errand.
Thankfully it was still there on the way back home.
I was very fortunate to have the owner come out of his workshop to tell me the story of this rig.
He found the rolling chassis and body in a shed in a mostly stripped condition.
Using components he had in his shop left over from other projects this rather nice pickup evolved over several years.
It has a power train consisting of a low mileage 283 Chevy V8, turbo 350 automatic transmission connected to a Camaro differential.
He installed a power rack and pinion steering setup and 4 wheel disk brakes to slow it down, so it is a very docile everyday driver.
I haven't met a hotrod with this much personality in along time!
