Yet another stretch of the South Dorset Ridgeway today. We started at Hardys monument and walked south east , stopping at where we had walked to a few days ago from the other direction. We only walk 4 or 5 miles each day, as it’s constantly up and down -as you can see in the photo -  and we always have to walk back to where we parked (not ready to catch a bus yet!) This is another fantastic stretch of countryside until you reach the workings of a new road - e tra. I’m sure it will be fine once it’s finished but think it will probably take ages yet. It may also reduce the traffic in Weymouth and Dorchester which would be great. Beautiful weather today, but there was such a nip in the breeze.
