Red Wheels

We have a great nephew called Cash (aged 2) Cash lives with his family on his grandfather’s ranch on California. Cash is completely fascinated with the farm machinery and is the proud owner of several John Deere ride on tractors and excavators. (Suitable for children)

Cash even gets to "steer" his grandfather’s tractor sitting on Grandpa’s knee.

Every few days we receive a number of photos and movies of Cash doing his tractor thing. This boy is a farming enthusiast.

We are pretty much surrounded by farming activities, but very rarely do we actually see any farming events happening in daylight.

They usually work at night.

Today was different. We were treated to the activity of planting potatoes to the field on the Eastern boundary of "The Policies"

John Deere tractors are green with yellow wheels. Other makes of tractors are available in green with red wheels and I thought that Cash might be interested in these.

Today’s Blipfoto has also been sent to Cash by his Great Aunt Pat.

It has been a wonderful sunny day and we had our first lunch outside.
