Mariachi

This afternoon was drop dead gorgeous. Bright, sunny and warm. The city of Fort Worth has begun a wellness program named Fit Worth. They hope to get folks out of their cubicles to go walk sometime during the work day. To kick off this program, the city had a festival in Burnett Park. Lots of folks showed up and walked with Mayor Betty Price. One of the high schools provide a drum line to keep cadence as the people walked. They also had a high school mariachi band. This young man was one of its members. I was very entertained. Even got a bar towel with Fit Worth printed on it.
