Pond

Not a very exciting photo. I took it to illustrate something I've noticed (took me 20 years) about this part of the country. You'll be walking through a field on dry level turf, and then in a corner there will be a clump of trees surrounding a little pond. I've reached the point where if I'm walking somewhere new and see a copse I can usually guess if there is a pond there. I've never seen so many ponds like this in other places where I've lived. Something about Warwickshire geology? Or maybe I've just been unobservant before.
