The bridge at the start of the riverside walk in Grasmere near the village hall. A short wander avoiding the busy centre. We stopped for a while to watch a dipper and later enjoyed 10 minutes sit on a bench in the sunshine.

We were happy to find a space for an hour’s roadside parking but many others were driving around the already full car parks.
