Alder leaf beetle

These beetles are such obliging models. I don't think they do much harm, other than eat the leaves slowly but the tree doesn't seem to suffer. They will stay on a leaf even if I move it to improve the light and they're quite slow so  plenty of time to faff about with the camera settings.
