Dumfries has resident otters in the middle of the town on the River Nith. They’ve been a huge draw and focus to locals throughout lockdown. Their appearance is more or less guaranteed and is a wonderful introduction to nature for kids big and small.

My Mum loved a brooch and I’ve a wee collection and today’s my otter, with it’s wee fish :-)
