Knight

A Knight in shining armour (massive wheels!)
rides the country roads with elbows bent.
His arms will stretch to spray the seeded fields;
for farmer-kings it's jousting time well spent.

The hedges cheer to see the Knight go by,
and shimmer in their floral gowns of white.
Each blossom tries its best to catch the eye
of that Knight in armour, shining, oh, so bright!

Bitterly cold Fresh this morning, when it clouded over and a wind got up. But as the day went on, it grew warmer and blue skies returned. The blackthorn blossom continues to wow the world, or the country regions of the UK, at any rate. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting yet another Flower Friday challenge.
