Goldfinch, the Sequel

The birds are having a great old time out at the feeders today, enjoying the freedom they have and that will not be affected by today's COVID announcement! For us human Ontario residents, though, our lives as of today will be much more confined. The COVID situation here is so dire that our lockdown has been extended to at least May 20, with more severe restrictions than before. We must remain at home at all times, except for essential purposes and now the police have  been given the power to stop us and also our vehicles to ask for our home address and our purpose in not being there. The borders between Ontario and Quebec and Manitoba will have check-points to ensure no traveling into or out of our province unless for essential work or transportation of goods. 
All public recreational areas like playgrounds, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, golf courses, and I assume skateboard parks, will be closed. So I can see that exploring my favourite conservation areas will have to be be put on hold for now. Our health care facilities are in real trouble and it is going to get worse if nothing is done. Let's just hope that these new rules will help. So...today's blip, taken while safely ensconced in my home, is a bit of a repeat - but then goldfinches are so cute they deserve some more air time, right?
