The Queens Gallery

We were at an opening at The Queens Gallery this evening - an exhibition of photographs from the then Prince of Wales' tour of the Middle East in 1862. It's pretty interesting; if you like old albumen prints then this is the place for you. I'd like to see the same scenes taken now and compare the two though! Here are some of Edinburgh's great and good socialising in the gallery.

Stopped off for a carry-out on the way home, read the paper while I was waiting and found the centre-spread was all about this exhibition - so having first seen it I then read all about it!
