Les Noirauds

Having a meal earlier this evening in a bar/restaurant in the centre of Brussels when in walked a couple of these characters. My jaw almost hit the floor. Turns out they were collecting for a childrens' charity very grandly titled 'Royal Charity of the Princess Paola Cradles'.

I will now quote directly from the glossy full colour four language leaflet they handed to us:

'Our name: Since more than 130 years, "les Noirauds" (the darkies) have been anonymously collecting money dressed up as "African operetta kings".'

I'm not sure I even know where to start or what to stay. Dumfoonert is the least of it.
