Time wasters!

Taken from my kitchen window while cooking dinner. These lambs are so entertaining to watch. The little one climbing on mum is so cute. It spent a lot of time nibbling at mum's neck and sniffing round her. I thought it was trying to maybe find milk but mum didn't stand and it didn't seem to have the sense to go round the other side. In the end it just snuggled up to her back. At the same time the bigger lamb was trying to find its mum but was being pushed away by all the close by ewes. In the end it snuggled up with the little one and it's mum, extra photo. I hope it was reunited eventually with its own mum but I had to concentrate on dinner for a bit!
The sheep are causing much drama all the time. This evening Barry went out to help another young local farmer, Daniel, chase his sheep off the lane back into the field and then mended the fence so Daniel could concentrate on the sheep. The farmers are just so busy and exhausted from very long days and short nights! I'm lucky I just get to watch them!
