Carsington in the dead calm

Didn’t linger long, even at 11.30 it was heaving with folks wanting to escape to the countryside. So that’s what I did. On a quieter day may be worth a visit, it is only 25 miles from home (via the white roads!).

The benefit of KT being chained to zoom (don’t tell her this) is that I get a chance for a longer ride out. It’s been more than 12 months since I’ve been further than about 40 miles, so it was nice to see I have a little more in the legs! Going to spend the afternoon on the mower with a beer I think!
