Less than 3 feet away

It landed on the handle, had a quick look, then hopped down by my feet to snatch up a grub from where I was digging. No fear at all, it seems. The extra is with the grub - a different view of a robin.
A lovely thing happened at the allotment this morning. Last year my next plot neighbour had beautiful magenta gladioli, which I admired very much.  When I arrived I found he’d just transplanted some into my plot - so kind:)
