EBCI Ladies

After a series of bleah days, today started with a lovely clear, blue sky! :))

We had to be ready early to get to the other side of town by 10 am for breakfast at the French Bakery. The main purpose was for the new pastor's wife to meet the ladies who head up women's ministries in the church. G & I were there because of our work with OaSis. We had a very happy two hours just hanging out and reacquainting ourselves with each other! G & I have met up with folk throughout the last year but there were some people we hadn't seen for over a year!

Mervat, the organiser went round the tables taking pictures using her phone, so I piggy-backed on the opportunities she created. My collage is the best of what I was able to capture.

We raced home to catch the funeral of Prince Philip. What a beautiful and solemn ceremony to witness. A very fitting end to a remarkable life! And it was a gorgeous day in the UK as well! Brilliant. :))
