Stickle Tarn
Jane and I consider ourselves to be reasonably fit but this walk nearly did for us.
We walked up Blea Rigg and did a circuit via Sergeant Man (that we have done before) and Thunnacar Knott.
The walk at high level was fairly straightforward but the steep walk down from Harrison Stickle was really hard on our legs. When we finally reached the bottom we had lost all the glycogen in our legs and we felt like those marathon runners that struggle over the finish line.
I am writing this later in the week and our legs are now a lot better.
