There will no doubt be better garden centres but this really is fabulous. I love just wandering around, reading about the plants & trees & chatting to said plants and trees. Such wonderful choice & a great depth of treasures.

This greenhouse is ace. It’s towards the bottom of the public part of the site & houses some of the more exotic produce, the special stuff if you will, towards the back including the indoor fruit trees.

It has been a sad day in the UK with the funeral of Prince Philip. Very moving to see the Queen in photos later. Also the passing of the incredible Helen McCrory was a shock. In happier news it is Mum’s birthday today. 84 & a living legend. We all love her very much.
