Beginnings

They don't look like much but these are new shoots of a rudbeckia plant that my mum brought me cuttings of last year. They originally came from my great aunt's garden in Scotland, mum has had them in her garden for a few years and now she's reduced them and brought me a clump.
My aunt passed away last year and it had been a while since I'd seen her, and obviously we couldn't have the usual funeral (not that she'd have wanted the fuss) so it's nice to have this little legacy plant in the back yard just peeping through :)
