My husband's choice

Another gloomy day , but one spent at Montezuma  again. We  saw several harriers while poking around the lakes on the way up and there , but the new birds were the great blue herons who are back and all over the reserve. There were also the nesting ospreys on the electric tower lines outside the entrance  and everywhere else.. 
So , I have lots of photos of ospreys and herons and some of the ducks we saw (some in extras) . but this little song sparrow peaking out of the reeds was my husband's favorite. And so it is the main photo.
