Madrid

Doug and I watched a replay of Prince Philips funeral this morning. Rather heartbreaking to see the Queen sitting so isolated from others, it was a lovely service with beautiful singing.
Some days the unexpected happens! Nothing drastic, in fact all good.
This afternoon we were in the process of measuring (every which way) in preparation of putting up a heavy framed water colour when visitors arrived. In a bit of a mess but we put that aside and enjoyed their company.
We’ve just completed the hanging and managed to hang these two plates as well. We bought them in Madrid back in1997, they haven’t seen daylight since we’ve been here so nice to have them hanging again.
As it’s almost dark I took an easy option and blipped the plates.
