Containers

This morning we went on a Members’ Welcome (Haere Mai) Tour of the Museum.  It was an orientation tour pointing out areas of interest, indicating the location of the Members’ only ticket desks, event spaces, lockers, the Museum Store and other sections of interest. The tour ended in the brand new South Atrium, which is a wonderful space.  The external entrance to the South Atrium is flanked by two very large urns.  One is shown in the main photo and the second in the first extra.  The second extra is a plaque describing the urns, which are made of granite.
